Private Label Webcast is Now Available

USAWeb, the pioneer in webcast auctions and a provider of technology services for the traditional auction industry since 1995, now has the first private-labeled webcast service for auctioneers.

USAWeb has been involved in the webcast sales for some of the largest corporations in America - though you probably did not know it because we promote our clients - not ourselves. The proof of our success is more than 300 events with over 50 million dollars in online sales.

How does WebCast work?

The Bidder’s display provides the interface between the live auction and the remote bidder. The format of the bidder display and the available functions are common for each of the sales supported by a WebCast. Figure 1 is an example of the Bidder Display. The display area is divided into seven areas:

  1. Picture of Lot Being Sold in the upper left of the screen
  2. Lot Data in the middle on left of the screen
  3. Lot Preview Area on the lower left of the screen
  4. Bidder and status information
  5. Bid functions in the upper right of the screen
  6. Auctioneer’s Messages
  7. Special functions in the lower right of the screen

The following sections identify the content and controls available to the bidder for each of these areas.
